A River Again Runs Through It
More than two tons of high explosives set off last July ceremoniously shattered the top ten feet of the Marmot Dam, located along the Sandy River approximately 40 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The project is the state's largest dam removal project in decades and drew hundreds of spectators and dignitaries to witness the July 24th event. (read more)
